Ana Paula Barata Salgueiro holds a Law degree from the Faculty of Law of the Portuguese Catholic University.
She completed the National Defence Auditor Programme at the National Defence Institute.
Ana Paula Barata Salgueiro also completed the Advanced Management Programme for Public Administration (CADAP), as well as specialised courses in Auditing, Strategic and Project Management, and Programme Evaluation.
She is Deputy Inspector-General of the Inspectorate-General of Finance – Audit Authority, where she began her career in 1989. She is a member of several working groups representing both the Ministry of Finance and the Inspectorate-General of Finance – Audit Authority.
She is also a trainer and speaker at conferences and seminars.
Ana Paula Barata Salgueiro is a Guest Lecturer in the Postgraduate Programme in Public Auditing at IDEFF – Institute of Economic, Financial and Tax Law.
She is also a Guest Lecturer in the Postgraduate Programme in Financial and Budgetary Management and Control at NOVA IMS – Information Management School.
