Junior Data Consulting (JDC), the Junior Enterprise of NOVA Information Management School (NOVA IMS), has elected its new governing bodies. Rita Barroso takes over as President, leading a renewed General Board and six departments committed to continuing the JDC's work with companies, non-profit organizations, and the academic community.

JDC is a student-run consultancy that applies academic knowledge to real-world data projects. Since 2021, the organization has completed more than 25 projects, investing around €16,000 per year in member training, with each member receiving over 300 hours of training annually. JDC is also part of the international Junior Enterprises network, represented across more than 380 partner companies throughout Europe.

With the new leadership now in place, the governing bodies for the upcoming term are as follows. Rita Barroso's presidency is joined by Bárbara Vitória and Francisco Carneiro as Vice-Presidents. The six departments are led by Inês Maneta in Partnerships & Expansion, Margarida Pinto in Quality, Noa Penas in Marketing, and Beatriz Marques in Operations, the largest department in the organization, with an extended team of project managers, consultants, and trainees.

NOVA IMS wishes the new leadership and the entire team a successful term, confident that JDC will continue to be a driver of learning, innovation, and impact for its members and the wider community.
