NOVA IMS is a scientific partner of INA in the new AI lab for the Public Administration

Detalhe da Notícia

NOVA IMS is one of the partner institutions of the IA Experience Lab, a new laboratory created by the National Institute of Public Administration (INA) to support the Public Administration in designing and testing Artificial Intelligence solutions.

The lab was officially launched during the AI Summit AP: Empowering through Experimentation, an event organized by INA that brought together public sector leaders. NOVA IMS was represented by its Dean, Miguel de Castro Neto, who participated in the panel “Intelligent Governance: From Proof of Concept to Scale.”

The IA Experience Lab was conceived as an experimentation space where public sector teams work with specialists to transform concrete problems into AI projects, following a methodology that prioritizes learning through practice. The objective is to develop proofs of concept and prototypes, validate approaches, and prepare the documentation and technical requirements needed to facilitate the transition to later implementation stages.

NOVA IMS contributes to the IA Experience Lab through the scientific and methodological support of projects, from problem clarification to the definition of functional and technical requirements for the solutions. The aim is to help public entities turn proposals and proofs of concept into projects that are ready to move forward to subsequent phases.

In this context, NOVA IMS joins a group of scientific and technology partners supporting the IA Experience Lab, including Accenture, Algorithm G, Deloitte, EY, KPMG, PwC, ISCTE-IUL, ISEG, FCUL, Porto Business School, and Técnico+.

With this partnership, NOVA IMS reinforces its mission to create impact in society by supporting companies and the Public Administration in digital transformation and the adoption of Artificial Intelligence, with concrete results.
