Pedro Batista is a Data Scientist at the Portuguese Court of Auditors, with expertise in Business Intelligence, Data Science, and Digital Transformation. He is also a Guest Professor at NOVA IMS, where he teaches courses in Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, and SQL. Previously, he held leadership roles in IT and Data Management at institutions such as the Public Finance Council and SPMS – Shared Services of the Ministry of Health, where he led teams across several domains, including Advanced Analytics and Business Intelligence. He holds a Master’s degree in Information Management from NOVA IMS and has an academic background in Computer Engineering, Business Management and Administration, and Humanities.
