Biografia

Bruno Damásio possui um doutoramento em Matemática Aplicada, um mestrado em Econometria e uma licenciatura em Economia pela Universidade de Lisboa. As suas áreas de pesquisa incluem econometria não linear, cadeias de Markov multivariadas, processos estocásticos, econometria financeira, séries temporais não lineares, economia aplicada e os pacotes estatísticos R e Stata. Os seus trabalhos têm sido publicados em várias revistas, como Physica A: Statistical Mechanics and its Applications, Statistics and Probability Letters, Applied Economics Letters e Empirica. Além disso, Bruno Damásio é professor de estatística e econometria na NOVA IMS e no ISEG (Escola de Economia e Gestão, Universidade de Lisboa). Também trabalha como consultor estatístico e formador para diversas organizações privadas e públicas, incluindo a OCDE, a Comissão Europeia, o Tribunal de Contas Europeu, ministérios, bancos centrais, institutos de estatística e órgãos de análise económica.
