António Ferreira dos Santos

Graduated in Economics from the Instituto Superior de Economia (now ISEG - Lisbon School of Economics and Management, University of Lisbon).

Inspector-General of Finance - Audit Authority, to whose staff he has belonged since 1987;

Chairman of the Coordinating Council of the Internal Control System of the State Financial Administration;

Chairman of the Audit and Control Commission of the Recovery and Resilience Plan.

Previously held positions include:

• Advisor to the Council for the Prevention of Corruption,
  Secretary-General of the Ministry of Economy and Digital Transition,
• Deputy Inspector-General of the Inspectorate-General of Finance - Audit Authority, in the area of Public Financial Control,
• Deputy Director-General of the Directorate-General of Prison Services.

Advisory Member of the Order of Economists.
