NOVA IMS Alumni Session: Round Table Data Scientists + Mentoring Wrap Up

This event, held at NOVA IMS, consisted of two parts.

The first part was a roundtable discussion with Data Scientists, which began at 6:15 p.m. and lasted for 45 minutes. It featured the following professionals:

Andreia Nunes (Senior Data Scientist at Roche | HabberTec);
Gustavo Fonseca (Data Scientist at DareData Engineering);
Jorge Abreu (Expert Data Scientist at Ageas).

The discussion was moderated by Marta Sousa, a member of NOVA IMS ALUMNI, and provided mentees with insights into the various roles of data scientists in different companies.

The second part of the event was a mentoring wrap-up session, during which two pairs of mentors and mentees shared their experiences in the mentoring program and provided feedback for future editions. This session lasted for 30 minutes

Event Wrap Up

On February 9^th, a roundtable discussion with Data Scientists organized by the NOVA IMS Alumni took place at the Noble Hall of Colégio Almada Negreiros.

The panel was composed by Andreia Nunes (Senior Data Scientist at Roche | HabberTec), Gustavo Fonseca (Data Scientist at DareData Engineering) and Jorge Abreu (Expert Data Scientist at Ageas).

For 45 minutes, the various strands of data scientists in the labor market were discussed between mentors and mentees.

The mentoring program ended with a small feedback sharing session between mentors and mentees, as well as a networking cocktail.
