NOVA IMS has signed a collaboration protocol with NTT DATA Portugal, a global business and technology consultancy, aiming to strengthen the cooperation between the academic world and the labor market, promoting innovation and allowing students from NOVA IMS a better integration in the professional world.

The protocol includes the dissemination, by AD NOVA IMS, of job opportunities in the area of Information Management and Data Science to students of the institution and higher education, while NOVA IMS provides support to NTT DATA in order to make the search for students suitable for specific roles more efficient.

This partnership also involves the awarding of a merit scholarship to the best student of the "Customer Relationship Management Systems" course unit, worth €1,500, to encourage students to work at NTT DATA.

The agreement also foresees the joint participation of both entities in conferences, workshops, or public and social initiatives, as well as collaboration in activities or specialized and post-graduate courses.

According to Miguel de Castro Neto, Dean of NOVA IMS, "nowadays analytical capabilities are fundamental to build the society of the future, and the partnership between NOVA IMS and NTT DATA is an example of how the academic and business worlds can promote innovation and value creation". The Director concludes by reinforcing that "the proximity that results from this agreement is a key tool to adjust supply to demand for employment and also allows reinventing and transforming organizations through innovation, as well as deepening our commitment to the development of talent in the areas of business and Information Technology, which require qualified human resources".
