Jorge Bravo, Professor at NOVA IMS, in an interview to TSF, highlights the necessity to complement the public pension system with other saving systems for retirement.

The Professor believes that the promotion of the complementary pillars, either the corporate or the individual pillar are fundamental to avoid the degradation of pensions.

According to the professor: "We don't have to impose mandatory complementary systems. But we have to dynamize them, because that's the only way to mitigate the reduction of the replacement rate."
