Paulo Areosa Feio
Paulo Areosa Feio holds a degree in Geography (1990) and a master's degree in Human Geography and Regional Planning (1995) from the University of Lisbon. He is currently the Director of the Competence Center for Planning, Policies, and Prospective of the Public Administration (PlanAPP), a position he has held since July 2021.
He has previously held various positions, including:
- Technical Advisor at the Portuguese Delegation to the OECD;
- Coordinator of the QREN Observatory;
- Project Manager of the QCA III Observatory;
- Technical assistance and institutional capacity building in Angola and São Tomé and Príncipe
- Visiting Professor at ISCTE -IUL and Lusófona University of Technologies and Humanities and Assistant in the Department of Geography at the Faculty of Letters of the University of Lisbon;
- Assistant to the President of the Mission for the Reform of the Territorial Organization of the State Administration. He was a member of the Assembly of the Republic (1984-1985).
He is the author, either individually or in partnership, of dozens of publications and reports in research projects and planning studies.
