Sofia Lavos is currently an entrepreneur, founder and CEO of Boosters - a human resources consultancy that supports leaders in developing best practices in talent management and development in their companies, in diverse business areas such as: finance, engineering and information technology.
She was a Corporate Director of Human Resources at Ascendum Group - one of the largest global distributors of Volvo machinery and equipment - present in 14 countries (Europe, North America and South America).
Until 2018, at Sonae MC, she led an organizational transformation project for all commercial business units with the definition of a new careers model and assessment center and the launch of a corporate academy.
From 2010 to 2016 she took responsibility for human resources of the Non-Food and Health & Wellness businesses, at Sonae Modelo Continente; with 1500 employees, in 200 locations and representative office in China, in Guanghzou. In this role she had the opportunity to be active in the launch of major retail brands and teams - Wells, Note, Zu, Yammi, KASA - supporting new organizational models and implementing talent policies to which she added the launch of several training academies, commercial incentive programs for store operations and various motivational programs.
Her career began in telecommunications: until 2010, at Optimus, she was in charge of the global management of outsourcing partnerships and all training and development for the Customer area.
She has extensive experience in executive coaching and talent management.
She has a degree in International Relations, with a Post-Graduation in Management.
Has International Leadership Training Future Leaders Program 2015, by the World Business Council for Sustainable Development and is accredited by the International Coaching Federation.
