DWPS 2025 Frederico Cruz Jesus

Frederico Cruz Jesus is an Associate Professor and Coordinator of the Bachelor’s in Information Management at NOVA IMS. His research focuses on technology adoption and value creation, business process management, Industry 4.0, and the application of data science methods in management and education. He has published over 30 scientific articles in leading academic journals, including Information & Management, Journal of Business Research, Computers in Industry, Transportation Research Part A, International Journal of Production Research, and Government Information Quarterly.

In addition to his academic path, Frederico also has entrepreneurial experience. In 2014, he co-founded Home Sweet Sushi, an innovative venture that introduced the concept of sushi home delivery in Portugal — at a time when digital delivery platforms had yet to arrive. What began as a small operation in Lisbon quickly grew into a nationally recognized business.
