DWPS 2025 Sónia Dias

Sónia Dias is Dean and Full Professor at the National School of Public Health, NOVA University Lisbon. She holds a Ph.D. in International Health and develops her scientific work in the fields of health promotion, disease prevention, and socio-behavioral sciences, with a strong focus on health inequalities and the evaluation of health interventions and policies.

She has extensive experience leading and participating in research projects, including those funded by the European Union. She also serves as a consultant for various international organizations and scientific panels. Sónia Dias is the author of over 150 articles published in indexed scientific journals, as well as several book chapters and books.
