The Master's Talks will take place on March 5th, Wednesday, at 6:30 p.m., and it will be your chance to explore the Master's Degree programs available at NOVA IMS!

This event acts as our Open Day for Master's Programs, and is organized by NOVA IMS Student's Union (NOVA IMS SU), with the support of NOVA IMS and Alumni Association of NOVA IMS. The event will be held on-site, at Campolide Campus, in Lisbon, and online, and will be conducted in English.

This will be a unique opportunity to:

  • Listen to former NOVA IMS' students, as they share their academic and professional journeys, ideas, and tips for success.
  • Gain valuable insights of NOVA IMS' diverse programs through dynamic panel discussions with alumni from diverse backgrounds.
  • Join dedicated individual sessions, where you can engage directly with representatives of each program and receive personalized advice, clarifying any doubts you may have.
  • Engage with students and alumni during a Cocktail.

The main aim of the event is to motivate and inform future Master's students, differentiating the different components of NOVA IMS' training offer and providing a networking platform among members of the NOVA IMS Community.

Registrations for the event are now closed. However, if you are interested in attending in person, you can register in person at 6 p.m. at the Noble Hall, located in the Almada Negreiros Building (Campolide Campus). Agenda

6:30 p.m. | Opening Remarks by NOVA IMS' Dean, Professor Miguel de Castro Neto, and Marco Martins, President of NOVA IMS SU;

6:50 p.m. | Discussion panels with alumni about the different programs, career paths and opportunities, moderated by a member of the Alumni Association, and dedicated to the programs in the following areas:

  • Information Management;
  • Statistics and Information Management;
  • Data-Driven Marketing;
  • Geographic Information Systems and Science & Geospatial Technologies;
  • Data Science and Advanced Analytics.

8:30 p.m. | Closing speech by the President of the NOVA IMS Alumni Association, Ivo Bernardo;

8:45 p.m. | Question and answer sessions on the Master's Programs, followed by a Cocktail & Networking moment;

9:30 p.m. | End of the event.
