The event Master Talks was a unique opportunity to hear from the Masters Students and the Alumni. They shared their experiences, insights, and tips for success. The event was designed to inspire and motivate, and it was a great chance to network with other Students and Alumni, and industry professionals.

During the breakout sessions, attendees had the opportunity to learn more about the Masters Programs and ask questions to the presenters. The cocktail and networking event was an excellent chance to connect with other attendees, alumni, and industry experts while enjoying food and drinks.

Event Wrap Up

On February 23th, the event Masters Talks, organized by the Students Association of NOVA IMS, with the support of NOVA IMS and the Alumni Association of NOVA IMS, took place at the Noble Hall of Colégio Almada Negreiros.

This initiative, successfully, brought together current and former masters students, who wanted to clarify the uncertainties of potential students and share their academic and professional experience. Besides this sharing of experiences, there was also a networking moment accompanied by a nice cocktail.

6 p.m. - Opening remarks by the NOVA IMS Student Union President, Constança Rodrigues

6:10 p.m. - Admissions Office information;

6:20 p.m. - Panels discussion on the different programs and career paths and opportunities with NOVA IMS’ Students and Alumni:

  • Information Management;
  • Statistics and Information Management;
  • Data-Driven Marketing;
  • Geographic Information Systems and Science & Geospatial Technologies;
  • Data Science and Advanced Analytics.

7:45 p.m. - Closing remarks by the NOVA IMS Alumni Association President, Ivo Bernardo
