Manuel Alvarez is the CEO of RE/MAX Portugal. He holds a Law degree from the University of Zaragoza and an MBA from Instituto de Empresa in Madrid. His career began at the distribution company DIA. In 1999, he signed the master franchise agreement for RE/MAX in Portugal. In 2008, he launched the credit management brand MAXFINANCE, followed shortly by MELOM Obras, both under a franchising model. He is currently the Chairman of Grupo Ganhar, which owns the three brands, with around 1,000 franchised units and nearly 14,000 employees.
