NOVA IMS won the Special Achievement in GIS (SAG) Award. The Smart Region project (conceived by NOVA Cidade - Urban Analytics Lab of NOVA Information Management School and materialized in the Intermunicipal Community of the West) was chosen among more than 100 thousand candidates and distinguished by Esri, the world leader in geographic information system (GIS) software, location intelligence and mapping. The announcement of the award, reveals Nova IMS in a statement, took place at the Esri User Conference in San Diego, California.
