Despite the weaknesses acknowledged by the director of the National Health Service (SNS) and the daily criticisms heard in public opinion, the truth is that those surveyed by the Sustainable Health Index, produced by the Nova Information Management School (Nova IMS) for Abbvie, evaluate the evolution of the SNS during the last decade positively, recognizing its quality in therapeutics and its professionals. According to numbers presented by Pedro Simões Coelho, full professor at Nova IMS and coordinator of this study since its first edition in 2008, the quality perceived by users regarding health services was 72 points on a scale of 0 to 100 in 2022.
