Digital Wallet launched by NOVA IMS in partnership with Holywally
Detalhe da Notícia
NOVA IMS has teamed up with HolyWally, a leading wallet-as-a-service platform in the world, to launch a digital wallet for its students, in September. This wallet, which is also the result of partnerships with banks, fintechs, and retailers, will allow students to make payments and manage their finances, providing a personalized and modern university experience.
This partnership reflects NOVA IMS' strategy which aims to promote collaboration between the academic world and the business sector, seeking a better fit between job supply and demand. This digital wallet, manufactured entirely in Portugal by HolyWally's research and development center, aims to empower students by promoting their digital literacy and financial skills, in addition to facilitating the payment of academic and daily expenses.
According to Guilherme Victorino, Associate Dean for Value Creation at NOVA IMS, "Academia should be close to what is happening in the business sector and these partnerships promote a stronger connection. We need to develop cooperation mechanisms that enable and promote joint participation in technical and academic activities in the fintech area. This exchange between academia and business is a key tool to promote a better match between job supply and demand."
Vel Vasic, co-founder and CEO of HolyWally, mentions that the brand is very happy to work together with NOVA IMS, as they consider it a reputable academic institution that contributes to strengthen ties with the business sector. Vel Vasic adds that "we expect a lot of cooperation and work between HolyWally and NOVA IMS, with students and faculty involved at all levels. This will be a truly collaborative and exciting project."
