Pedro Simões Coelho DwP Summit 24

Pedro Simões Coelho is a Full Professor at NOVA Information Management School (NOVA IMS) at Universidade Nova de Lisboa and a researcher at the Information Management Research Center (MagIC). He serves as a senior expert for the European Commission in statistical methods. He is a board member of the European Master of Official Statistics (EMOS), the Ischools accreditation committee, and the Portuguese Health Technologies Commission. Previously, he was President of the General Assembly at the Portuguese Association for Classification and Data Analysis and a member of the Portuguese High Council for Statistics. Pedro Simões Coelho has a post-doctoral degree in Statistics, a PhD in Statistics, and an MSc in Statistics and Information Management from NOVA University. He has taught nearly 30 courses, including Structural Equation Modeling and Survey Methodology. Coelho also consults for institutions like Eurostat and the Portuguese Central Bank, developing data analysis methodologies.
