Tiago Oliveira

Tiago Oliveira is a Full Professor and President of the Scientific Council at NOVA IMS, where his research focuses on technology adoption, sustainable technologies, and process mining. He is the Principal Investigator in nine ongoing European projects related to sustainable technology adoption behaviour, and has contributed to leading academic journals such as the European Journal of Information Systems, Tourism Management, Government Information Quarterly, among others.

With over 35,000 academic citations and more than 250 published scientific articles, his work has received international recognition, having been included in the 2021 to 2024 editions of the Highly Cited Researchers list by Clarivate Analytics — which highlights the world’s most influential scientists.
