About the Event
On 21 January, NOVA IMS will host the second session of the UNIGIS Talks, marking the 25th anniversary of UNIGIS Portugal. This session will focus on Modelling “Place” in GIScience: Concepts, Data and Paths Forward, featuring Professor Vicente Tang and moderated by Professor Marco Painho.
The session will examine how human experiences, emotions, and perceptions can be integrated into spatial models. It will also look at emerging data sources - from citizen contributions to digital traces - and how they are opening new directions in GIScience.
Participation is open to the community, with prior registration required.
