Bridge Room introduces a new approach to hybrid learning at NOVA IMS
Detalhe da Notícia
The Bridge Room at NOVA IMS was featured in Jornal Económico as a pioneering classroom in Portugal that advances hybrid learning and the way students and professors interact. The space was designed to support active participation from all, ensuring continuity in the learning experience whether students are on campus or online.
More than a technological setup, the Bridge Room represents a new approach to teaching and learning. Every element of the room was planned to create an immersive environment where on-site and remote students share the same class without barriers. As Professor Miguel de Castro Neto, Director of NOVA IMS, highlights: “It’s not just about placing screens and cameras in a room. The student needs a 360-degree experience in which everything is optimized for learning.”
The Bridge Room is part of the EDGE strategy – Educational Design for a Global Experience, the pedagogical model developed by NOVA IMS based on three pillars: pedagogical innovation, learning environments and educational analytics.
