NOVA IMS has established a partnership with Residências Montepio, a health company belonging to the Montepio Group, with the aim of promoting new skills in the management of health units. The two entities joined forces to launch a new training course, aimed at top managers of health units: "Management, Innovation and Leadership in Health Units". This training aims to fill an identified educational gap, develop new skills in the management of health units and respond to the needs of the labor market, providing updated and relevant skills for the health sector.

This partnership reflects NOVA IMS' strategy to promote the connection between academia and the business world, seeking to combine knowledge in information management with the areas of healthcare delivery. The advanced program was developed together with experts and professionals from the sector and aims to train students in the areas of management and innovation in health units.

According to Guilherme Victorino, Associate Dean for Value Creation at NOVA IMS, "it is essential that the academic world is aligned with the needs of the labor market, and this partnership further strengthens that connection. We need to develop collaboration mechanisms that allow joint participation in technical and academic activities in the health field.
