From January the 31st and February 9th, several sessions were held about the G.R.O.W. program, an initiative that helps people to clarify their professional goals and prepare them for a successful job search.
The program was divided into four sessions, each with specific goals. The first session, "Self-awareness & professional goals," emphasized the importance of emotional intelligence and helped participants identifying personal and professional strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats for their development.
The second session, "Setting up for success," contextualized the resume and cover letter, as well as covering professional platforms such as LinkedIn and GitHub.
The third session, "Job interview", helped the participants to prepare for a job interview, identifying the most common questions and how they should be answered, as well as indicating what attitude should be maintained in an interview, in order for the interviewee show assertiveness.
Finally, the fourth session, "Personal pitch", demonstrated how to generate a good first impression in the interview and how to structure a 1.5 minute pitch.
Divided into 70% practical component and 30% theoretical concepts, the G.R.O.W. program was an excellent initiative for those who are looking to have a successful job search experience.
