She holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Auditing from the University of Aveiro (2000), a Master's degree in Accounting and Auditing from the Open University (2003), a postgraduate degree in SNC-AP (National Accounting Standards for the Public Sector) from the Polytechnic Institute of Cávado and Ave (2016), and a postgraduate degree in Financial and Budgetary Audit from Nova University (2018). She currently serves as the Director of Financial Inspection (in an acting capacity) at the IGF - Audit Authority, an organization she joined in 2002 as an Inspector, where she is responsible for the operational direction of projects related to the control of local municipal administration. She has authored and co-authored various control work programs in the financial area of Local Authorities and has participated in several seminars and symposiums on these topics. Since 2018, she has been a lecturer in the Postgraduate program in Public Accounting at Coimbra Business School. From 2000 to 2002, she worked as an administrative and financial director in a private company.
