About the event
Following the success of last year’s edition, ALUMNI NOVA IMS is once again hosting a two-session series on Git, a collaborative platform used by programmers and development teams to store, share, and collaborate on code projects.
The first session of GitHub Meetup 2026 took place on March 12 and was led by two NOVA IMS alumni, Afonso Pereira (DareData) and Nuno Leandro. Open to participants with different levels of experience, the session covered the fundamentals of Git, making it accessible even to those with no prior experience with the tool.
The second session of GitHub Meetup 2026 will take place on April 29 and will also be led by Afonso Pereira (DareData) and Nuno Leandro. More details will be announced soon.
