How can data, artificial intelligence, and emerging technologies help improve urban mobility?

From September 23 to 25, NOVA IMS will host the Hack the City: Mobility Challenge, bringing together participants from different backgrounds to develop solutions to real-world urban challenges.

About the Hackathon

Over more than 40 hours, students, developers, designers, researchers, and professionals will work in multidisciplinary teams to address urban mobility challenges.

With guidance from mentors from academia, industry, and public institutions, participants will turn their ideas into solutions designed for real-world use in cities.

The Challenge

Teams will develop their solutions using data, artificial intelligence, and emerging technologies.

On the final day, the finalist projects will be presented to the Mobility & Digital Twins conference participants and the jury. The hackathon will conclude with the awards ceremony.

Mobility & Digital Twins Conference

The final day of the Hack the City: Mobility Challenge culminates in the Mobility & Digital Twins Conference, taking place on September 25 at NOVA IMS. During the conference, the three finalist teams will present their final pitches, followed by the announcement of the winning team and the award ceremony.

The conference will bring together city representatives, researchers, professionals, and experts to discuss the role of data and digital twins in the future of urban mobility. The program will include presentations from the hackathon finalist teams, followed by the awards ceremony.
