Biography

Ricardo Martins is an Invited Assistant Professor and a research scientist at NOVA Information Management School (NOVA IMS). He holds a master’s in marketing Intelligence and has more than 15 years of professional experience in marketing and sales management in several industries, such as: Modern Distribution, Telco, and Information Systems. He received his Ph.D. in Information Management at Universidade NOVA de Lisboa, and his research interests are focused on the study of diffusion of technological artifacts, customer and user’s behavior and engagement, webmarketing, e-commerce, CRM. He has published his research in a variety of academic outlets, such as Computers in Human Behavior, International Journal of Information Management and Information Technology & People.  Ricardo Martins is also the Manager of the R&D center at NOVA IMS – MagIC.
