Henrique Carreiro holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from IST (Instituto Superior Técnico) and has postgraduate degrees from NOVA, INSEAD, UC, and FD UL. He is currently a director at IT Insight. Henrique was previously responsible for the Development Platforms Area and the Productivity Platforms and Business Solutions at Microsoft Portugal. He led the launch of the first commercial Internet services in Portugal at Telepac. He has been a lecturer at IST and has taught Master's and Postgraduate courses at various universities. He is a regular columnist at IT Channel and co-author of the book "Leis da Sociedade da Informação – Comércio Eletrónico" (Laws of the Information Society – E-commerce), Almedina, 2009.
