Catarina Palha is an invited lecturer and PhD student at NOVA IMS. She holds a master's degree in Data Science and Advanced Analytics, with a specialization in Data Science from NOVA IMS and a bachelor's degree in Mathematics from the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon. With over six years of international experience as a data scientist and machine learning engineer in the pharmaceutical sector, she has worked with SDG Group on projects for leading companies such as J&J, Novartis, Otsuka, and, more recently, Sanofi. Her research focuses on artificial intelligence, and she co-teaches the Artificial Intelligence course with Professor Vítor Santos.
