Duarte Filipe holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Faculty of Science and Technology at NOVA University Lisbon. He teaches in the fields of Industry 4.0 and Enterprise 5.0, with his main research focus being on Industry 4.0 technologies. He is the co-author of the article “The Impacts of Additive Manufacturing Technology on Lean/Green Supply Chain Management”, presented at ELEC 2019 in Milan. He has also participated as co-supervisor and jury member in several Master's theses related to Industry 4.0, within the scope of a Chair developed by Instituto Superior Técnico.
