Afonso Hermenegildo is a Master’s student in Data Science and Advanced Analytics, specializing in Data Science, at NOVA IMS, where he also completed a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology & Systems. In 2025, he spent a semester at Aalto University as part of the Erasmus program. His academic background covers areas such as information systems, data science, software development, computer networks, and human-computer interaction. He also has professional experience at TEKEVER, where he has been working part-time since September 2025, following a full-time internship during the summer of that year and a trainee experience in 2024. His work has included projects developed in C# and .NET Core, involving Web APIs, database integration, and the use of third-party AI APIs. He has also been developing personal programming projects for several years, including web applications, games, and desktop tools such as mGira, Lygho, Turbo-Racing-3000, and Arcade Launcher.
