Rita Maravilha Leitão Marques is currently awaiting the defense of her PhD in Biology at the Instituto de Tecnologia Química e Biológica, Universidade NOVA de Lisboa (ITQB NOVA). She teaches in the areas of data science and statistics and is an alumna of NOVA IMS’s Postgraduate Program in Enterprise Data Science and Analytics. She also holds an MSc in Biotechnology for Sustainability from ITQB NOVA. Her research focuses on statistics, quantitative genetics, biotechnology, and plant biology.
