Elizabeth Fernandes holds a PhD in Information Science and Technology from ISCTE-IUL. Her research focuses on applying data science and machine learning to open and organizational data to support decision-making and create value for organizations. Her work also explores data strategy, Data Governance frameworks, and the development of value-driven data cultures, as well as the adoption of AI across people, processes, technology, and organizational culture. Her main application areas include media, marketing, hospitality and tourism, industry, and retail.
