Biography
André Gomes is an Assistant Professor at NOVA IMS and holds a Master’s degree in Information Management from the same institution. He teaches in the field of Business Process Management (BPM), which is also his main area of research and has been a central focus throughout his professional career.
His academic and professional work focuses on optimizing organizational processes, operational efficiency, and digital transformation. His current research is primarily centered on Process Mining, exploring the use of data to discover, analyze, and improve real-world organizational processes.
Throughout his professional career, he has worked in consulting and led projects involving technology transitions, systems improvement, and operational efficiency across different organizations. His applied experience includes a project developed at DHL focused on the practical implementation of Business Process Management methodologies.
