Manuel Ruivo de Oliveira is a Research Scientist at DareData, holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics from The University of British Columbia and has published in the areas of Differential Geometry, Computer Graphics and Time Series Forecasting. In industry, he has done applied research on interpolation methods in Geometry Processing, on forecasting of energy-related time series and on the evaluation of retrieval-augmented generation systems. He has also been both an instructor and a teaching assistant for a number of graduate and undergraduate courses, including Differential Calculus, Linear Algebra, Functional Analysis and Differential Geometry.
